I feel out of my element saying anything about gar, but I can't deny that it looks great!!! Great job, Michael!

I think the key is to be persistant. I bothered basically every vendor on every site and even if they said no to gars I would still bring up gars next time I ordered a non-gar fish from them. Mike from h20 told me a long time ago that he had a cuban gar that was not for sale in his display tank at the facility. Every time since then that we've done business I've asked him about the cuban gar and been denied. Last week I got an email saying he was going a different direction with his display tank and all the gars in it were going to be for sale. So... be annoying and persistant (but friendly) and you'll be thought of when the fish you're looking for finally shows up.

Sounds logical to me. I had to wonder if that's where you getting the gars when I saw the classified that stated that H2O was changing up their display tank and that their gars weren't listed, and I guess that I was right.
i can't wait till you move the gold florida in there... unless you just keep him in his own tank
