Foxface Rabbitfish questions

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I am scared of getting stung by mine, putting a algae sheet into the tank can be tough, as soon as I go near the top of the tank he follows my hand. I have to time it and quickly put my hand in clip the algae sheet onto the feeding clip.

Its an definitely a challenge. :)

Attach the clip to a length of string and tie it to the cross brace or light stand or something.
Clip in the nori, drop in the tank, reel it in when they're done.
Safe and keeps your hands out of the water.

so im just starting up a 75 gallon reef tank and considering a foxface as my first fish and ive got a few questions

1st. how often and what do you feed them
2nd. ive heard theyre reefsafe if you keep them well fed is this true?

thanks in advance

I have one about 6 inches long it is reef safe and it eats anything I put in the tank. Frozen, Algae, and Pellets.
