Thanks Bh,
He was with 2 pearlmutt mbuna, a ob peacock and a unfaded red Texas for a few months. The tank is 100 gallons. Frankie was never a crazy finger chaser, although he would follow you around, so I gave it a shot. He killed 1 mbuna when I first added them, but now the others know to avoid him after he eats. The other fish learned to nip his tail when he was too busy people watching. They swarmed attacked his eggs when he spawned. I thought it was too stressful for him, so they were removed. My other red Texas is in a community setup, being heavily stocked helps with Agro, but Maintence is a pain. I've done mixed tank, with fh a lot now, but it never last long. Either aggression, stress, or heavy bio load makes me clear out the tank for a solo or pair. Having spare tanks is a must. Just my experience, hope this helps. GL

Photo of the red Texas mix community. He's hiding behind rocks though.

As a side note...he finally had a fertile spawn. They breed every month or so, but never viable. Yesterday I found 6 fry...
