mice con. i see he is the is one of the ones with more of a rounded shape not very elongate. they tend to get deeper bodies and humps at earlier ages. just this bodytype seems like. but he will be amaxing once big. once he hits the 4" mark he will e a real looker.
Thanks everyone, I can't wait until he gets bigger myself, but it won't take long, I swear he looks bigger every time I look at him.
Nice fish...I've raised convict's for 3 weeks now!! and they have over 60 fry. It's funny how the fry are so curious.
Check out my picture album you will see a blue male convict. That guy has survived from being a feeder, they always seem to be the strongest best look fish!
Its crazy that you made this thread...because I am in the EXACT SAME situation as you are. I have a 3 month old Convict from my previous batch of fry that already is showing a nice nunchal hump as well.
Yours looks like a real bruiser! Mines about 2 inches as well but isn't as beefy as yours is. Very nice looking fish!
