Do u own a car? If u did. You know how the car looks like. He would just speed off until u r out of his sight. I would jump in my car, go his direction, take down his license plate, and then honk up behind him and flip him off. Then drive away.

You can never trust cars while you are in the crosswalk even if you have the "walk" sign. I always look over my shoulder a couple of times. I have almost been hit a few times and in each case I saw that the driver was using their cell phone.

I almost got hit the other day while riding my bike because the guy didn't come to a complete stop at stop sign and while moving forward through the intersection he was looking down (probably texting). He finally looked up and slammed on his brakes and came to a stop a few feet away.

I know right.... Every time I have been in any accident, people would just stand there and look at me.
i hope you reported this to police...just in case he is one of those people who gets a thrill out of it.. or is so elderly he did not even know he hit you.. either way they should be off the road.most importantly glad you are okay.
Well, still can't top HK... not only are a lot of the people here bad drivers... but just last month we had 3 Taxi drivers have heart attacks while on the road causing accidents...

Thanks for the concern guys. Too bad I didn't get a good look and the driver's face or his vehicle number.
Also no traffic cameras around that area so I guess the police can't do much.
Had to spend this week's allowance on clinic bill and repairs on my phone!

I wish the biggest worry in my life was a scratched fancy cell phone, even if it did result from someone else's stupidity... you must have a really great life if this is such a big deal to you. I hope your life continues to be so worry free.
