freaking out about tank falling through floor

I don't let fat girls in my house, let alone near my tank. If they don't cause it to crash through, they might think to grab the tartar sauce. :ROFL:

dont worry about it ! Used to have my 180 on the second floor of a very old house.
The floor shakes whenever my son would jump up and down. I used to have nightmares of that too.. but it never happened. If your floor cannot accomodate a 75 G, then its not fit to live in.
 
I seem to recall reading that a tank is not that likely to come through the floor; it is generally considered more likely that the floorboards will bow causing the tank to be at a nasty angle.

The floorboards (and joists) being made of wood have some flex in them, the tank (if made of glass) will not. I would expect the tank to fail first rather than the tank to relocate itself down 10 feet.
