yeah your nearly right as far as i know they are imported as synbranchus marmoratus (think it's spelt right) but the majority in the trade are s.albus or a name very similar to this from memory! they are commonly known as swamp eels and get very aggressive and predatory with age i believe they can grow to 30"-36" these are commonly called tulip eels as well,i haven't any practical knowledge with these though so couldn't comment on their care although i would treat as an african lungfish and you wouldn't go far wrong from what i've read over the years good luck Paul

Swamp eels.. are almost the same as lungfish... just without the fins and a slimer body..
