yeah your nearly right as far as i know they are imported as synbranchus marmoratus (think it's spelt right) but the majority in the trade are s.albus or a name very similar to this from memory! they are commonly known as swamp eels and get very aggressive and predatory with age i believe they can grow to 30"-36" these are commonly called tulip eels as well,i haven't any practical knowledge with these though so couldn't comment on their care although i would treat as an african lungfish and you wouldn't go far wrong from what i've read over the years good luck Paul:)
