It’s hard to tell from the pics but it looks like you have a lot of bypass flowing over where the intake tube goes in. That little housing just can’t pass it all through.
Yes there is some bypass but not much, the media upgrade is what really helping out, the extra flow is mainly for circulation. All these dang guppies poop alot, I go down evry day and look for males and remove them.
I am sick of coming down stairs and finding more freaking babys, and I have no fish to eat them. so hopfully once all the males are moved I can keep things under control.
I worked with what I had, I have been looking for a dwarf puffer fish all around me. Can't seem to find one, and can't bring my self to spend 40 bucks to ship a 5 dollar fish.
