only a few of the eggs turned white the rest still look the same(guess thats a good thing)asked a few people they say i should have wigglers by thursday, keeping my fingers crossed.

more of the eggs turned white(maybe a dozen or so)is this good or bad?Still have some the other color.

have a few wigglers this morning, alot of the eggs turned white, but i do have some wigglers(so far so good)for my first spawning i am happy with that.

Congrats. Are the parents eating the white eggs?

Ricky is good people so I am sure he would help you also if you have any questions but Nemesis pretty much answered all you need anyway. The parents will be cool with the fry.Just watch how they interact with each other also.I have had females get killed by males when young adults, when the female would put the fry in her mouth to move them and the male therefore thinks she's eating the babies and will kill her.Just keep an eye on them.Sometimes you dont have to do anything. The parents will chew the food and let it come out of their gills in tiny specs so the fry can eat ~ but brine shrimp are good also.Good luck and congratulations.

the parents are not eating the white eggs,i have a lot more wigglers this evening.Have been watching the parents dig pits behind the flower pot i think they are going to move the babies to the pit later.

the white eggs are eggs that either didnt get fertilized or died at some point during incubation. from wigglers to fry takes about as long as it does for the eggs to hatch and then the fun begins!

hopefully i am ready the parents seem very good at their job, some of the white eggs seem to have fungus onthem, will this harm the wigglers, the wigglers seem to be doing ok so i didnt bother any thing.Should i just leave things alone until they are free swimming then vacuum out the dead eggs? the parents are not removing the bad ones.

the wigglers are moving around on the bottom of the pot now,she keeps rounding them up if thw wiggle to far away from the pack.Hope they are free swimmong soon.
Here is a few more shot of the pair.
