Use GE Silicon I (I think Windows and Doors), can get at Home Depot (get clear). Tons of ppl use it , no probs. Way cheaper than buying "aquarium" silicon.

Dude, dont get the GE 1 or the "aquarium sealent". GE1 will not hold a tank this size for long.

And aquarium sealent is not intended to hold large tanks together. Its not going to hold any better. You need some RTV 108 to hold this guy. Its more expensive, but it also wont burst on you.

sooo timing couldnt have been better. I just finished resealing the tank yesterday and already I'm in need of it.

my 125g cracked last night

so my fish are currently residing in my 100g. Heard a loud bang last night, my 2 20" plecos like to fight well apparently the glass was weak in the middle fo the back panel because when one pleco rammed the other into the glass it cracked top to bottom (pics later tonight)

Now I have a great respect for center bracing as if my 125 didn't have that glass brace, it would have been 125 on the floor.

so annoying. Luckily both my 100g and the newly sealed 135g have 1/2" glass, the 125 has 3/8".

oh well moral is find free tanks, you never know when you're going to need them.

Great score! I don't want to gloat but I just scored a 225 and a 180 earlier this year.
Nothing beats free tanks, except free big tanks.
