If it can potentially hold a large amount of water, by any means obtain it...it will always have a use...

i think you should be all right. I was looking for cheap tanks for months and then finally found some, now all of a sudden everyone wants to sell off cheap tanks after I bought mine. =P

I just picked up a free 65 Gal Hex tonight. It was free - but I figure it will be close to $300.00 by the time I am done.

Tank is perfect - just dirty. Already bought a new filter - old one works but it is really badly gummed up and it will be a great backup once I have a chance to clean it. The new glass lid is $40.00 - then there are lights... and then a new stand.... driftwood... plants... and on it goes.

I now have about 6 smaller tanks hanging around. My plan is to clean them up and sell them and put the money towards the tank I really want 200+ gal.

I am almost done resealing one - it has a chip out of the glass at the very top. Even after it is resealed I don't think I would trust it too much full of water so I am going to sell it as a reptile tank - that way I get to keep the filter

Sounds like it was not the 'right one' for you. It will come - just keep looking.

man you read me like a book. i just felt it wasnt worth it. besides where i live no1 is into the hobby so selling a tank is like selling used toiletpaper..
