i think you might be over thinking it, i like it because it is like he is falling in slow motion, and because i think they edited it to fit the music very nicely

If this is the stupidest video you have ever seen you must have started using the internet 5 minutes ago. Were you expecting him to fall at the pace of a regular skydive? Can't please everyone i guess ;)
 
yeah if you pay close attention, there are ledges along the way down. he sat on a ledge. besides. kudos to them for diving. i havent been ONCE. i would carry a plastic baggie with me on the way down.... just incase i saw fish lol
