i appreciate the ideas green_fox, and thats some pretty cool information, The communal tarantula setup is pretty freakin cool, im not to well educated on tarantulas so thanks for the information.
and that thing killed a chicked.

i have bred leo's before but other desert lizards or maybe arboreal geckos is the path im walking this time. I was up to my ears every few months when i had six mating pairs in my room lol

how big is the tank your building for them?

I donno if an arboreal gecko would really do anything with a water feature...Have you considered Crocodile Skinks? You could get a pretty decent sized colony going in that tank, and they would actually use a small pond if you could set one up.

Are snakes an option? You don't often see them kept in vivariums, that could be pretty cool.

You could do more than 3-4 female leos in a 4x2.. also you could turn it sideways and get lots of crested geckos.

I would pass on a suggestion that was recently given to me and say that a breeding pair of Russian Legless Lizards (Scheltopusiks) would be pretty cool.
