instead of makein this guy give away his fish why doesnt someone just give him a heater???? he is nice enough to give you guys his fish so dont make him do that give him a heater

This all started because of no heater, or because of the heating bill?
Either way, the $$ amount of the fish you're just giving away isn't worth it..
and, If you live in California it really should NOT cost that much to heat a 180g tank..
Del, I think your fishtank is just something to place the blame on for the rise in electric costs.. I ran over 3000g of fishtanks and kept the building heated at my last facility, and the electric bill was always around $100/mo.. I added 5 fishtanks (55g+) to my wifes hoouse when I moved in, and the electricity bill only went up a few bucks..
I think someone is being treated unfairly!
It's going to be a big shocker when you move that tank into storage and your bill only goes down a few bucks.. I hope you kick your dad's arse after that.. You'll regret giving away your fish!!
