hell naw

what pisses me off is that he tells me that my tank uses too much electricity

and yet he's about to run a pond that is using 2 pool pumps, one for the filter and the other for the water fall.

both are 3/4 HP

you should piss him off by throwing in a monster fish in there that will eat the fishes in the pond, probably kois are going in there and i hear they make feeders.

Someone let Del borrow a monster RTC or TSN with a big mouth. :grinyes:

Do not ship that silve Mike.

Chances are it could die...and I would hate to see that.

here's the thing

she could die during SHIPPING
she would only die if you didnt do it right i have had many large fish shipped to me wait till ya see what Miles and Waldo are shipping me might be a week though but its paid for they just need to build the huge crate for it we are talking a 4' fish here and i bet that she will arive just fine....................

and with tranq she will not even know what happened

dont be scared how do you think everyone gets big fish... they are shipped

If he doesnt want to ship the fish....leave him alone about it. It is HIS fish. I know I wouldnt want to ship any of my big guys....what if something happens and they are stuck somewhere for a day or more?

I wouldnt ship it either Del.

they wont die being shipped as long as its done right

This I agree with, but once it leaves his place it's out of his hands. Some fish will get stressed and refuse to eat. some people handling it dont give a rats ass and they will throw it around. there is a chance the fish will die no matter how good the packing is, because it can be neglected.

if done right pretty much any fish SHOULD survive, but fish DO die suring shipping too. It's not that uncommon.

I don't blame him at all for being nervous.

Yesterday I shipped my favourite fish (albino snakehead) to a good home- zix here on MFK.

The snakehead was only 10 inches but I was VERY nervous, because I had to drive to another country to ship him, I had no heat packs, no oxygen, the person at the depot seemed incompetant, I didn't speak the same language, and almost did it make it in time to ship hahahaaha.

I was still confident because the fish is a ****ing beast, and has survived some incredible things already.

I'm sorry but if I had that 26 inch aro and it was my favourite fish I would not want to ship it, unless maybe it was done by a world class shipper who ahd successfully shipped aros that size before.
