I like to see the work as well. Just don't want to see it all the time. The tank is as much a piece of art as it is a fish container. I'll post pics of my fish room one of these days and you will see what I'm talking about.

When I visit zoos or public aquariums, most people oh and ah at the tanks themselves, which I do, but i always think to myself, man, i'd love to see whats behind this tank.

I'm the same way...whenever I visit public aquariums I like to see if they offer behind the scenes tours.

On my own tank, I initially wanted to use clear PVC and keep my stand open...until I found out how much clear 2" PVC pipe and fittings cost (easily over $1,000 for the parts I needed).
