MY LFS also carries a large selection of 4 and 2 legged critter supplies. On a recent visit I ran across a new line of raw, freeze-dried dog and cat treats http://www.vitalessentialsraw.com. One of the treats is freeze-dried minnows, US sourced and processed. While I don't have any fish of a size to consume such food, I know many here do, and I thought I'd pass along the information. This would seem like a safe, minimal mess source of "feeders". I checked and Amazon carries them, although they are higher than what I'd pay in my LFS.

It's on the Treats tab under dogs (or cats). ttp://www.vitalessentialsraw.com/freeze-dried-vital-treats

Although some nutrition info is shown, salt content is not. Supposedly processing is limited to a 48 hour freeeze drying, with no additions being made (I've bought the chicken breast and chicken heart treats for my dogs, and they are the plain product--and they love them by the way).

Thanks, looks interesting... although not sure whats been added or if its 100% natural?

Will u taste test them?

Taste test? I don't currently have any fish large enough to handle them. But I might pick up a pack for my dogs and ask the fish room manager at my LFS if he would mind trying some on his Oscars and Jack Dempseys.
