really as long as i can kill them and just do about 40 fish per bag and just do separate sandwich bags for them and each bag will be thawed for that days feeding.
freezing live fish for food

i buy frozen smelt at an asian market. they're flash frozen so they don't stick together and i think they're about $2-3 per lb. i've seen the smaller lance fish (silver sides) there too.
are you getting that good of a deal on live that it justifies the time and labor of killing/freezing/packaging?
