most AKC papers for any dog aren't worth the paper their printed on....the AKC does not monitor the breeding process nor provide any guarantees' they are just a registration service.

Take fish for example...F0 or F1 it's anyones guess unless you pulled it out of the river yourself.

For sure it's not $0.41 like sending a Christmas card , but it won't cost a fortune... I'd say around $75-$100

Also i believe you have to prove all shots and records are up to date before sending...My brother in law had to before he shipped his dog back to hawaii..

my brother used to ship puppies and it was 250. That helps with the crate and you have to have its health certificate and everything else to show the air line he is up-to-date on shots and what not.
