Personally, the genes of the fish play a big part. If by feeding alone can enhance the fish so much, then no point we breeder try to do enhance breeding to produce better quality fish.

Food only help to certain extend but never a dramatic change.

Pic from last night to update the thread. His diet is better and he's bulking up. Hasn't gained much length lately but is getting thicker and taller. He just will not flare his fins in front of me while I hold the camera.
