yea the nicest striping for a cb del, but towards the tail the pattern goes crazy lol

There is a lot of variation even in wild caught delhezi, even some wild dels have 'J' shaped stripes. The new generations of CB dels will continue to blur the lines, but the chain link pattern near the belly on mine is something fairly unique to CB fish. He has a crazy stripe on each side, but not all its stripes towards the tail go crazy.
