fresh seafood 4 aro

Those who have been able to feed aros fresh shrimp, white fish, clams ect. How are you getting them to eat it? All of these foods sink, and mine has been for the most part only hitting foods at the top. Just curious if there are any tricks envolved.

Yeah, good question, mine is the same way, I have run a pice of fishing line throught the middle of a prawn then removed the needle, when the Aro hits it, he pulls the meat off the line, but it's an impossible mess because it gets soft and falls apart.....I'd like to know how you guys do this too.......

WELL I FROZE MY SHRIMP AND CUT IT INTO PIECES FOR IT TO EAT. WHEN ITS FROZEN IT SHOULD FLOAT.

I just throw it in. The aro hits it as soon as it his the water. they will also go to the bottom once in a while.

my arow will dive to the bottom of my tank for egg whites

i blend up shrimp with some good pellets and a little spinach then freeze it so it floats

I thought that frozen foods were a no-no. It was my understanding that the cold can sort of "flash freeze" them.

my fish dive bombs all food i throw in. you guys have trouble gettin them to eat it? i have troubles keeping them full.
