Fresh Water barracuda?

I just picked up a pair of "fesh water baracuda" from the lfs bought them for $15 each they are about 1in each I currently have them in a grow out 20gal with a sponge filter and heated to about 80 degrees my question is has anyone here had them if so can you share your experiences with them with me? I will put pics up when I get home

Its called a huejta gar, rocket gar but truely a pike characin. Great fish, had one for almost 8months. Only gets 8-10"

Those are often labeled as freshwater barracudas, but there are many more species. Acestrorhynchus falcirostris and Acestrorhynchus falcatus seem to be some of the more popular FW barracudas. It could be a huejta gar, just don't want to jump to conclusions.

I looked them up there there are some that are called yellow tail gar that look similar to the ones I own

I have one its a really nice fish they grow slow but its fun to watch them eat guppies.
