Fresh water Clean up Crews?!

I have a very messy eating bunch of fish. I was looking for someone to pick up the scraps. I was thinking maybe a bala shark ? any other ideas?

How big is your tank and what is your fish? All around utility fish would be a synodontis catfish

Clown fish. Mabey your over feeding? And or pellet might be to large. What's the stock and food size?

This may not be an option depending on tank size, but I call my Black Ghost knife my tank vacuum, because any food that the other don't eat he comes out and vacuums it all up. "Results may vary"

Im not a huge fan of black ghost knifes. Plus my gravel and background is black. You wouldnt see him, I plan on putting a big royal clown in tho ! I might try a bala or a clown loach. Depending if I can find good sized ones.

Clown Loaches are great at picking up the scraps. They eat anything.

I think bala it is

The Bala shark will happily eat almost anything you feed it and will readily accept flake foods. Its natural diet consists of phytoplankton, rotifers, insects, insect larvae and tiny crustaceans and it will appreciate live foods. The Bala shark is an omnivorous species and will eat meaty foods as well as algae and vegetables. It is a scavenger and will carefully look for any left over food from earlier feedings in the aquarium. The Bala shark will also help keeping algae growth under control.


Seeing as my big plated sucker does nothing haah
