do any of u own a fresh water lion fish. what do u feed it. and what water dose it live in hence(fresh,brackish,....)pic of mine have not seen him eat

Batrachomoeus trispinosus is more commonly known as the Toad Fish but I have seen it labeled as freshwater Lion Fish.
i've seen them labeled as stone fish also. those things dont seem to move at all. all they do is lay on the bottom. lazy buggers.

Yeah, that is what it first looked like to me to. But then I know they go in saltwater and wasn't sure if they are in fresh water as well.
I kept a toadfish for about a week, but he was to big to keep with the eel, and well since the eel and I are bff's, I got rid of toady... But even though they seem small, they got some monster apetites.

They are nocturnal creatures, so they come out at night to feed, atleast that is what my tosfish did. The first day I put him in there he just swam under a rock, next moring all my minnows were gone, about 5 1" mummichog minnows. So, keep fish in there, and you should put a rock or something for him to hide in.
