Hit the search function above and look for fresh water lionfish, there was a long thread on it recently, if you make a post on it the thread will be brought forward.
Cute little bugger, try mysids or grammarius.

great fish, i trained mine to eat pellets but he would eat frozen food, ghost shrimp, guppies, beefheart, etc.

Try not to get finned, they are scorpion fish and carry a venom that is painful

Isnt that a toad fish??? Looks nothing like a lion fish...

i have never seen those before
your guess is as good as mine

Yeah, that is what it first looked like to me to. But then I know they go in saltwater and wasn't sure if they are in fresh water as well.
I kept a toadfish for about a week, but he was to big to keep with the eel, and well since the eel and I are bff's, I got rid of toady... But even though they seem small, they got some monster apetites.

They are nocturnal creatures, so they come out at night to feed, atleast that is what my tosfish did. The first day I put him in there he just swam under a rock, next moring all my minnows were gone, about 5 1" mummichog minnows. So, keep fish in there, and you should put a rock or something for him to hide in.
