hey guys, i was wondering if you think that two emperor 400 filters would be enough for a 125 gallon tank with 4 polka dot fresh water rays?
thanks 4 any help,:)

you need alot to learn if you don't kno the name of the stingray.

i think you should be worrying more about tank size rather than filtration. even if they were retic or "teacup" rays, i would put at most 2 in there. but to answer your question, i don't think its enough for 4 rays. i would put a eheim 2262 and your current hob filters...

wrong forum anyway....

are there any bans on freshwater rays in south florida?? we wanna order them where i work but wasnt sure of the rules....

freshwater rays are illegal in florida, and to answer the original question no... 4 pdr rays would not live in there... expecally since poka dot rays... aka leopoldi rays are on a "ban" from import prices are over $1000 a piece, so i would suggest getting a bigger tank if you are going to actually purchase them
