Fresh Water Stingray

Hey , I live in Texas and Im starting a 125gal monster tank. I really would like a freshwater stingray, what are the laws ? Can I keep one without getting in trouble with Game and Wildlife department?

Illegal over most of the south, including Texas. As a former fish shop employee, let me give you this advice-don't go to the local stores and ask about it. It's like trying to buy pot at a head shop.

what he said..... in the FAQ forum oddball posted a sticky that will tell you all the fish that are illegal in your state...

hmm... some one else just started another thread asking if it was legal in cali. and they wanted to put it in 125 too. Oh but their 125 was not a monster tank.

dats sme chichlids etc.... aros can pretty much live with anything
