because theyres not many that go past the saltwater section so i put it here

Very cool looking shark there!!! I'm not seeing what is cruel though?
 
A lot of sharks are saltwater fish. If you try to study regarding osmotic shock and osmoregulation, then you will see what really is wrong with this practice. SW and FW fish are very different. IMO, forcing them to adapt to conditions to the convenience of the aquarist is really cruel. SW and BW fish become more prone to fungal infections compared to FW and vice versa in certain cases. In both cases, certain species are unable to live for a long time. This is another reason why the practice is wrong.

it has a shortened life span
its a saltwater shark normally
and they put em in freshwater
its basically killing it slowly and softly

OK, now I see the cruelty!!! I thought they were freshwater, since the thread said "fresh water" shark...OMG, that guys and idiot...they are such nice looking sharks, very sad indeed!!!!!

Mollies can be in FW, BW, or SW actually.

mollies may be an exception i think. their one of the only fish that can be happy in salt, brackish or full salt.
