freshwater clam

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have some in my 10 gallon. They really don't do a whole lot. They seem to come to the surface of the gravel at night, other than that I don't really see them.

The clams dont do very well in very clean water they need to filter feed micro organisims like algae and infusoria. You can try to feed them liquid fry. You can also try Dt's its a concentrated liquid made up of phytoplankton. Its made for reef takes so i dont know if it would survive in a freshwater tank. But if you dont use alot of it at a time i dont think it will affect the tank.
