Freshwater Crabs............

If you want a great little shelled invertebrate in fresh water look into crays.

Most fresh water crabs need a bit of dry space to scuttle along.

But the Thai micros are nice and their is a Japanese crabwhos name escapse me at the moment. ( little red and brown things about 1.5 - 2 inches across)

red clawed crab seems to be brackish water. I had two of them in my paludarium but they were dying after a few days. I moved them to a hospital tank and added some sea salt, and the next day they got energy back and started moving around again...

I returned them to the petstore and now try to look for vampire crab which I heard they are fully freshwater

Any one knows any seller of vampire crab in Toronto area?

I bought some crabs called red crabs from a lfs out here in the city. They were supposed to be feeders for my RTC but one ended up outliving my RTC. He has been living under a piece of driftwood and living off of the driftwood.
