freshwater crabs

i have had a male and female fiddler crab in my discus tank and i love watching them .
i have some drift wood that sticks out the water and the male sits and waves his claw about lol

not ALL red clawed crabs require brackish. the most commonly sold red claws, sesarma bidens, does need brackish. From time to time, other species that look like sesarma bidens either are imported by accident or are contiminants. They most likely do not need brackish because the sesarma complex is mainly freshwater. They also do not require land as much as the fiddler crabs, but would like it very much to climb up onto something when there are territorial disputes.
there is a family of crustacions from south america in the genus Aegla which are not really crabs and not really crays/lobsters. Those are truely freshwater although they are not seen very often in the hobby (sometimes they are on aquabid, but they are really expensive... like $60 each)

I bought a fiddler crab and it is like no other... first of all, the aquarium employees didnt even know they had it, they said they havent seen them in about 6 months, he doesn't EVER leave the bottom of the fish tank to get air, and he hangs out with the other fish with no problems. i want to get more, but i doubt they'd be as cool as him. i also have a 65 gallon tank with a bunch of funny fish. if you were to watch my tank for a couple mins you'd laugh. my softshell turtle and always pregnant guppy are the funniest though
iam thinkin to start new thread, then i found these..well, i have 1 by accident or you can call it freebies..my case, crab are good in water, more over him/her stay still at water pump and wait for food..actually i have no idea what sp is it..anyone kept FW crab?? 
yea, i got another crab and he definitely isnt as cool as the one as I posted about above... lol, me and my bf named him hitler today(well, i know thats an evil name and all) but he loves to sit in the corner by himself and look at his reflection or something and move like a robot putting his giant claw to his face then straight up, he does it when he walks to and nothing is around him. its really cute.
