off subject but whats sw ich look like im a newb and I wana say my copper band has ich now i cranked the heat up in hopes that will work
well the fish died off... i think that they couldn't handle the hyposalinity.. sucks... but the tank has been running for about 2 weeks now without fish in them. BUT, i have shrimp (opai, ghost shrimp) in tank and i notice that some of them have little white spots on them :/
could it be ick on the shrimp?
do shrimp carry ick?
can ick survive in tank with nothing but shrimp and crabs?

Its too bad that your fish didnt make it. Sometimes even when you do everything right the worst still happens.
As far as I know, inverts dont get ick. The ick can survive in the tank for 4 to 6 weeks without a host. So I would hold off putting fish back into the tank for a while longer.

thats right your shrimp and all inverts will not get ick, Do you have a Uv sterilizer??
also go buy some kick ick its reef safe and dose your tank with the kick ick i am sure in 6 weeks all the ick will die off
