Don't even know there latin name cause when i type fwd or baby whale it just comes up with whats said.

Cheers.

Extremely territorial. I had one in my 90g & within 1 day, he had 1/2 the tank & all the other fish were huddled in the other 1/2.

deffinatly aggressive, best on groups in a species only tank.
supposedly get 14"..more likely 8-10"

"Best on groups in a species only tank"

Do they school?

Whats the species name?

Very similar to the elephantnose. I'd say around 40g minimum.

Bump, anyone?

They are the same as the elephantnose. Not necesarily schooling but they squabble if there are 2, so 1 or 3+ are best. You'd need quite a large tank for 3. I inherited 2 18 year old elephant noses that lived in a 30g tank their whole lives. They are now in my 125g & quite happy. I see them squabble quite a bit but I figure if they've made it this long together... Kind of like an old married couple.
