Freshwater Dolphin

the freshwater dolphins are usually very hard to get to eat but if you do get him eating successfully they tend to grow to about 12in. VERY SLOWLY and have quite a bit of attitude about them VERY COOL fish tho

if you can get him to eat at all

Great acquisicion!!! I think that artemia and tubifex would be good food items....

Hey all, thanks for the help! i've had him for about 4 weeks now--he's doing well. Except I've never seen him eat! i've tried bloodworms, tubifex, etc etc and i've never seen him go after the food.

--I think these fish are scavengers or maybe they eat snails? any help?

thats the ONLY drawback to them Stallion every one i've ever worked with PLENTY OF THEM I've only been able to get like 2 of them to eat good for me

I finally tried Live Blackworms--and he goes after them on the bottom---that's the first time I've seen him eat.

FwLION, i've had him for 4 weeks approx---so if he hadn't eaten a thing--he'd look really skinny by now or be dead right?

What else has been your experience with them? Thanks
