freshwater drumfish is native to where?

The small ones my friend caught are doing well. I might add one if they do well for a while. Anyone have an idea on growth rate?

how big is it wurm? lets try to watch how fast they grow.

mine is doing well! and is now eating feeders? lol!
s2pid meee i bought him an extra pack of earthworms but i left in on where i was fishing :irked:

i want to add 2 more small ones just to see them interact but unfortunately i cant catch one thats not hooked too deep >(
 
My friend has 3 in a quarantine tank. He says they are doing well. I am pondering an attempt.

go do it! they add so much action in a tank... kind of a tinfoil barbs/ bala shark action... it never stops swimming.

it chases and eats goldfish too!

i hate to tell you this, but that is a black drum. not a gou (freshwater drum). they live in brackish and salt water, while the freshwater variety lives in fresh water only.

we have them in every body of water in the state. my biggest was just over 20lbs. the largest i have ever heard of was over 30lbs. they love crawfish. if you can get some i would feed him that.
