Freshwater fish that look like saltwater fish

yes but I think the shark needs to go back to saltwater to get nutrients from the salt. Kinda like salmon they only go fw when they spawn. My theory is not proven tho... But I doubt he has a 20,000g tank! Lol

it is true that not much is known about this right now but they have recorded some bull sharks living in fresh water for six years +
 
giant fresh water sting ray in the Mekong river! in fact they were salt water fish in the ancient time!
 
This might not be exactly whath the OP is loooking for but I've had a few people mistake my Clown Loaches for Clown Fish. They said "look, you have a bunch of Nemos".

I caught a show that said Bulls were spawing in FW and they specualted that offspring have spent their entire lives in FW.
