Freshwater Fishing El Niño ( Rain Fishing )

Hey guys it's me! Went fishing Dec 5th during major flooding here in s. Fl. Busted out with the hands-free Umbrella and hit the golf course,1 Bass 4 peacock bass seen some carp too and one actually came up and hit the lure..I'm using 1 3/4" Rebel minnow in gold which i modified by removing the lip of the lure (so it runs on top) making it a top water lure. Had a good time fishing the rain,fished 2 hours of non stop rain,no wind or lightning.

So it's said this was our strongest El nino on record and is expected to last until spring

Nice fish! You guys are so lucky you're getting that rain, it's been almost a drought for us up north. Most creeks and rivers are the lowest I've seen them in my entire life.

Nice! This rain as been non stop for us, I actually went a couple days ago to catch some peacocks no luck though. Too bad the same lake I tried, I visited about a month back and there was peacocks everywhere.
