Freshwater Florida Stingray/Atlantic Stingray

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Ok really, just do saltwater. Its not that much more expensive, and thats an excuse to get another tank for your freshwater fish.l

im a teen soooo another tank isnt going to happen lol do you have any idea how hard it was for me to just get my 200? im not allowed to get another tank. plus everything for me is pricey, bad job and theres not many job oportunites for a 15 year old ya know :/

Then wait another 5 years or so until you can move out, and then decide if you still want one.?

yeah im not totally sure at this point if itd be wise to buy one. dont need to get stung or anything. parents said i cant buy it unless the stinger can be removed and idt you can do it on FW rays

Buy a pancake ray. No stingers.

But, they get 10' across!

Hah yeah. I know that all too well.
Alrrightt...Well then I suggest you stay with the tank setup you have now, and forget about the stingray. It'll end up costing you a lot more money than a full saltwater tank in the long run with all the water changes, filtration etc.

is it legal in tx? all species of FW rays are illegal here except the FLR

My advice, Move out of TX- they are all legal in PA :)
