hey...im kinda new here....got a freshwater flounder recently.....abt 2"....wanted to know how big it gets and also what do i feed it??

I've had them before, and they are not easy fish to keep. Feeding is a hassle, and you pretty much need to target feed with a syringe or something like that. Other than the salt as some people mentioned, you need to have a sand substrate. A species tank is the best option too, as they are easy to be picked on.

I've had a bunch of flounders for about 2 months now. They're in a brackish tank with Mono Sebaes and they never get picked on. I have to feed them after I turn the lights out so they have a chance to get to the food. Still experimenting with food, so far they're eating blood worms, brine shrimp and flakes.

Anyone got pics of their flounders?
