they can live in water with 1 tbs of salt to evey 3-6 gallons of freshwater. they are def a bada$$ fish. i have had one on hold at the lfs for over 3 months. it can engulf a 3 inch comet sideways!!! i am waiting to setup my 125 for it and my cichlids. good luck.
