Freshwater morray

They are blind and mainly hunt by smell or commostion in the water. When hungrym they will eat most anything, feeders or frozen. Mine used to eat the orange cichlid sticks (by tetra?). Made some funny looking poop.
I personally like to feed my eels crawfish. They become expensive unless you become friends with you LFS guy/gal and or know how to breed them yourself. Otherwise, I swear by Hikari's Carnivore Pellets. They have the floating and the sinking type.
One of the three eels eat it consistently, but all of them eat it. I can't say the technique to getting your eels to eat the stuff. The problem is that two of the three will only grab the sinking pellets when they first fall to the bottom of the tank, but will not eat them when they are still on the tank floor. The smallest will sniff them out and gorge on the pellets. So for the other two I have to swirls the pellets around and they will eat them.
