I think he was asking if any others would get along. I wouldn't chance it. Puffers rarely are ok with other fish in their tank, especially other species of puffers. Many will even kill their own kind. I had a pair of C lorteti who spawned 3x & then the female killed her mate.

You can mix other fish in but they will end up suffering from "missing fish syndrome". Sometimes they only get "belly gone disease".

so could one set up a 30g just one small puffer tank?? would that be a'ight for them?....

I have many smaller tanks with single puffers in them.
