Freshwater Red Snapper?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I would probably keep a fish like this in saltwater or higher salinity brackish water, assuming it is anything like the common mangrove snappers Lutjanus griseus

=]]Well i've never seen algae soaked blood wafers =]]May i'm not looking hard enough.

mine killed my jar ages ago my mate caught the jack in a cast net it had the best red color and it died because of a piece of driftwood stupid me worst misstake i have ever made

i read on here someone had one in a couple undred gallon tank with some other fish and the snapper killed everything except an equally-sized chocolate cichlid, which it grabbed by the head and dragged it around the tank :screwy:

TFD has it listed at $10 for 3-4"

when i googled red snapper, it came up with this ...
same fish ? or different?
