I'm downsizing to a 55 gallon. I found one with a built-in sump (TruVu brand) for a good price used. If I get that one, would it be a good idea or overkill to use 1-2 of my Eheim 600/2217 canister filters as well? I'm not familiar with how to use a built in sump for freshwater, so if anyone has any tips I'd love to hear.
I'm planning to have a ropefish plus a few peaceful community fish like medium sized gouramis, a peacock eel, etc, plus plants. I know overfiltration is always good but I also don't want everyone getting blown away by too much current, yanno?
