sorry i need an id it was a small turtle with a long up turned nose sort of looked like a snapping turtle even if i cud just the species not the actual turtle would be greatly appreicated.

Species is exact turtle.

Turned up nose? Did the nose look "pig-like"?

na it had a real large head compared to body size was in with a load of terapins looked likea snapping turtle head but slimmer.

And you are sure it wasn't a common snapper or an alligator snapper?

looks like the loggerhead are they dangerous how big do they get. cheers for the info.

I've seen a turtle like that over here I almost got it cuz it was so cute..it had kinda a flatter shell and a flat head that was a lil square shaped the store had it labeled as "aquatic turtle" and the guy told me they are bred to live inside a fish tank. I was skeptical on getting it because i didn't want to chance it giving a buncha diseases to my fish.

No, they're not dangerous but the do have a powerful bite. They max out at about 4-5 inches SCL.
