I think aggression wise it'll always end up being a toss-up between the bruisers. But I think an aimara would be the most physically formidable..

Thanks to whoever fixed my spelling on the title....couldn't figure that out. Keep um coming ... I like to look up all the fish people name. I new the alligator gar would come up, bad ass fish. I've heard Dorados are S.O.B.'s too.

I have never seen an aimara before ... I googled it and wow ... is that a fish that is available in the hobby regularly?

I am going to go with my 3.5" AT Dat, my 12" pleco didnt like the AT in its hiding spot under a fake root so it started to hit my AT with its tail, the dat just turned hit the pleco in the side then almost flipped it over... at 3.5" :D

I cant wait till it gets bigger what a monster ha ha ha...

in relation to size convicts (a breeding pair) are super aggressive. I know FH, devils etc can all be aggressive in breeding but for being so small convicts are real mini meanies!!!

i had a red terror that was very aggressive.

Can't go wrong with Electric cat or Electric eel in this thread...Not really "aggressive", but can light you up if they want to.

Snakeheads always fit the bill when talking aggessive. When I had one, it would give me that "I'm gonna get'cha" look when I was feeding or cleaning the tank.

This is going to sound stupid, but I have this Snow White Cichlid who, out of 11 tankmates, owns half a 100g tank. He is 3.5" and seriously bullies a 10" Oscar.
Haven't had much experience with actual Monsters.

Anytime glad to help.

Dovii's are pretty bad . Jardini's are up there as one of the worst
