Nice, you ever get brown trout there?

Nope, i don't think they stock that species here, if it was a larger river they may.

The trout were at a creek behind my hood, i have found a great hole out in the woods that is unfished, all the stocked trout flood into this area after the spring. on the susq i was fishing the rocks down from long level, my favorite spot. most of my buddies have fiberglass bass boats so they don't dare try to navigate through the rocks, so i went with a friend who bought a beastly aluminum snyder that he doesn't mind abusing.

Brooks are awesome looking! There's a high mountain lake in northern New Mexico I got to go to once, clear cold water, and Brookies EVERYWHERE! Beautiful fish, didn't catch any big ones but it was fun. Congrats in the catches.

Beautiful fish. I haven't fished for trout yet, but it's on my to-do list

That bottom rainbow looks to be a baby steelhead.
Bottom rainbow is just your average stocked trout. Both are ugly looking compared to true wild trout in their natural range.

So it is stocked in North America?

yeah in assorted larger rivers.

hmm I just thought I looked like one due to the pink silver color on the gill plate and the lack of spots and the silver color on the top of the body. Are Michigan stocked rainbows look like the top one. And Are steelhead look like the bottom one. But this varys by range and I could be wrong. I can tell userly by looking at the fin shape but you can see them in the pics.
