A clearer less grainy, and true color photo would help (the blue grey tint obscures), because its hard to see the actual color on the jaw line
It looks female to me, in most Parachromis, a naked (unspotted) jaw area, suggests female.
It appears unspotted in your pic.
Here is and example, most Parachromis present this way
