Interesting. mine right now is very bright yellow or greenish, will it retain this color or will it change dramatically? my jag was almost completely black when i got it but is now more white with spots. can i expect something like that?

Heres my old WC male from Jeff Rapps and that one he posted kind of looks like a big version of it, to me...I do notice the worming in the face of the big one though...

don't really have a true answer due to most of my Parachromis I obtained at a descent size. but i can say that regular/frequent water changes and various diet play a key role.

I got one from Rapps with an oscar and 2 EBJD he grew about 3in the first month doubling the size of the O and JD's maybe its because he ate all the dithers i cycled the tank with (some he was slamming against the side of the tank to get them to fit in his mouth). I had to rehome him after he killed one of the Blues.

I would love to see Pics of 3" growth rate in a month.... I power feed my Dovii for the first couple months and I would say an inch a month for the dominate maybe 1.5", 50% water changes a week....varied diet...krill, shrimp...blood worms...brine shrimp...pellets.
