Lol yah, i believe Good ole moxy has another now?

had this happen to my gars and it was also gummy worms and them smacking them wwith a net that killed one of the 2 that were 18 inches long and i raised them since they were the size of a blade of grass ok i went on vacation to florida and we have family friends watch the house and there youngest kid (7 years old)decided it would be fun if he brought over his friend and try to forcefeed it and smacking it with a net when i got home i found my 1 gar dead and the other one halfdead lying on the bottom of the tank o my god i blew up! i qwent over to their house and draged him out of his room and started yelling at him and asked y he did that...he said this.."well they looked hungry and gummyworms taste good..." so i ask y did he smack them with the net? he said..."well i wanted to watch them swim and they would swim by themself"..omg i was very mad at him for that i also put a lock on the door and my friend comes over a few times of the week to feed all my fish and do w/c so now i have it all fixed...never trust kids and keep ur fish room locked up..

even though this is an old thread, I find it a little hard to believe that a few gummi worms killed that snakehead.

big snakeheads are among the hardiest fish you can keep...a few candies in a tank is not going to kill a big one...even if a few were eaten.

you can take a fish like that, throw it on the floor, leave it for half an hour, come back, throw it back in the tank and it will be swimming around like normal in an hour save for a few scratches...

I have seen it happen with jumper monster snakeheads before.

sorry for the loss but something else besides the gummi worms killed that fish IMO.

. Stop having children needlessly, have your spouse spayed or neutered.

sorry for this
but
i have to do something

:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::screwy::screwy::screwy::screwy:

so a dead fish is enough to advocate sterilzation of people
eugenics was tried and is a failed policy

but totally in no way should the kids have been feeding gummi worms to the fish

I keep hearing the same thing...You will change your mind...everyone that has changed their mind has had it changed by a spouse, parent, etc. I don't want the responsibility, and I wish that the 16 year old girl who looks like she had too many burritos but is actually pregnant would realize the same thing: children are expensive, messy, smelly, and basically keep you from realizing your other goals and dreams. All I keep hearing is: I would travel to Europe, but...I would have a sports car but...I would live on lakeshore property but...

The answers to the "buts" are...can't afford it, and can't bring the kids...need a minivan:eek: ...It's dream home or college tuition.

It's your choice...But don't complain when you can't have your dream. If children are your dream then go for it. If not, then $.75 will prevent all that...LOL

HELL NO HAVING KIDS DOES NOT KEEP YOU FROM LIVING YOUR DREAMS MAKE THEM CO PILOTS AS YOU ATTAIN YOUR DREAMS AND THEY WILL DREAM THEIR OWN DREAMS IN TIME AND WILL ACCOMPLISH SAME DREAMS BECAUSE THEY WATCHED MOM AN DAD DO IT

The only problem is when people allow their dreams to die then they are as good as dead.

Personally my wife and I have 7 kids and in no way do they hamper us from seeing our dreams realized actually they make the realization of the dreams more fulfilling
